Making the world a better place

So... i think a lot of us share the goal to put good out into the world.

Sometimes for religious reasons.

Sometimes for moral reasons.

Sometimes because we want that good to come back to us.

But we want to make a positive impact nonetheless.

Only, it seems a lot of people, me included, only do the right thing when its super convenient.

We dont usually go out of our way to make things better.

Me, personally, i just dont know how i can do good.

I mean i try to be nice to people, but i dont try to talk to poeple...

I try to eat ethically, but i slip a lot... like i havent reeeaaally eaten meat in years, but like a few months ago i ate a mcdonalds french fry, knowing damn well they have animal fat in them...

I bit into a meat burrito on accident because i got a beam burrito and my brother got a meat one from taco bell, and they werent labelled, so i guessed, and i feel bad about that, especially because when i did realize it was meat i just spit it out instead of eating it.

Buuut, lucky for me, taco bell sources their meat ethically, which actually makes me so happy.

But i still eat eggs sometimes despite the shittiness of that industry, and i eat biproducts like geleton and rennet...

I eat cheese and milk and butter, but partly because thats like all thats available in my house most of the time...

I know it doesnt have to be, but im too lazy to research alternatives...

Which is exactly what im talking about.

I want to point out, i dont think theres anything wrong with eating meat thats ethically sourced, like were omnivours, its the circle of life, whatever.

But the meat and farming industry is super fucked up and cruel, and i dont fuck with that a whole lot.

I mean, i still wont even eat taco bell meat because i think breeding animals is fucked up.

I dont quite understand how people dont see anything wrong with killing things youre not gonna eat, like spiders, and bugs...

Like... if theyre not gonna hurt you, theyre just existing, which was not their choice, but is still something they actively try to keep doing, so what makes it ok, besides the fact that were bigger than them, to end the lives they clearly intend to live.

I dont give a fuck if they dont have families to go home to or whatever the hell, its still their own fucking life.

And shit, is it ok to go around killing people just because theyre lonely, unemployed and you have a gun?

No.

Its not even ok to kill the most stupid ass motherfucker just because they contribute nothing and they bother you with their existence, because its still neither your life to take nor your problem.

Like... you can ignore them.

Especially if theyre outside, you are in the bigs domain, you have absolutely no right to just fucking go to their home and squish them because... theyre ugly?

Slight discomfort does not justify killing something.

Even if you think it doesnt care, you can not know that.

Not only that, but it really just is not your fucking place.

Humans just love to think of themselves as superior and godly, but were not, we just have thumbs, and monkey brains.

Elephants are smart as hell, and they use their abilities to help, and love each other. They mate for life, stay with their families until theyre dead, and they bury and mourn each other.

And do not even fucking get me started on elephant pouchers!

Why do we think its our place to "regulate" the environment?!!!

It wouldve done it itself! Things go extinct, so what?! Its the natural fucking order!

We have no fucking reason to decide which species get to live and die and populate, and how much!

Like, just let it play itself out, the species that live through the hardships will be stronger.

Not to sound like one of the dumb conspiracy theorists, but i think that is what were really trying to avoid is letting other species get stronger than us because no doubt theyre gonna revolt against our asses when they realize how horribly weve treated them for at least hundreds of years, and also, humans just have an unhealthy thirst for power.

But thats just me.

This post got off the rails a little bit...

Ill try to restart and stay on the original topic another time but i have to go now...

Uh...

Idk, i would advise against jumping out of third story windows onto concrete, im certain you wouldnt die instantly depending on how you jumped, but you would be very badly injured and probably end up dying after some excruciating time.

Annoyed as ever, Billie
